INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Youth Guidance is holding its “Day of Thanks” Carnival at Indian River Academy Elementary on Nov. 20. The event is a Charter High School Senior Class service project and includes a Thanksgiving meal, which some of the Indian River Academy students may not get to experience in their own homes.
The carnival will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Activities will include derby car racing, snow cones, face painting, carnival games, popcorn, and, of course, carved turkey and trimmings.
