INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery involving gun fire.
Indian River County Sheriff’s Sgt. Eric Flowers confirmed an armed black male entered the Sunoco Gas Station at 755 4th St. and took an undisclosed amount of money.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m., according to authorities. The suspect is described as a 5 foot 9 inch black male with short cropped hair, wearing a black hoodie and black ball cap.
No injuries were reported. A K-9 unit has been dispatched.
