INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, recently donated a total of $2,500 to the Education Foundation of Indian River County as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community.
The Education Foundation of Indian River County’s mission is to enrich and enhance educational opportunities for all students and teachers, both public and private, through effective fundraising and the efficient allocation of resources.
The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will be used to provide backpacks and school supplies to children in need through the Backpack – Tools for Learning Program.
“We are very honored by this gift to help keep children on a path of learning with renewed self-confidence,” said Cynthia Falardeau, executive director of the Education Foundation of Indian River County.
