VERO BEACH — The Buggy Bunch of Vero Beach invites all creative, curious, and imaginative children out to KidsBlast on May 17 at Riverside Park.
Families are invited to this mega, kid-focused event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is largely hands-on and features activities that are jam packed with learning opportunities for children of all ages.
Advance purchase of an “unlimited fun” wristband is $8 and can be found at www.kidsblastverobeach.com or $10 at the gate. Limited wristbands will also be sold at the gate for $5, allowing children to choose up to five activities throughout the event.
This one-day event will feature zones that are specifically designed to stimulate and encourage curiosity, creative learning, interaction, problem solving, role play, creative construction, as well as participation for the entire family.
The Buggy Bunch knows that the community is only truly enriched when diverse groups work creatively together to educate the children.
“Goo, Slime, and Grime,” sponsored by All Aboard Therapy, will allow children to get down and dirty playing with slime, goo, and other fun textures.
The “Dance Your Shoes Off Zone,” sponsored by Christi’s Fitness, will feature the huge KidsBlast dance floor where kids can watch an participate in scheduled dances.
The “Build and Grow!” design zone, sponsored by the local housing industry, will feature handmade wooden castle blocks for tots to build and create.
The “Sprout Zone,” sponsored by Sartain and Associates and Tropical Property Management will allow kids to explore gardening through hands-on play.
Several other imaginative zones, featuring different industries and children’s activities, offer something for all ages.

Food trucks will be providing lunch and snacks during the event. All proceeds will go to The Buggy Bunch.
