VERO BEACH — Gallery 14 will present a special showing of work by two uniquely divergent artists recognized for their award winning assemblages and oil paintings in March.
The first, Joan Earnhart, represented by the Gallery throughout the year, is known for her fascinating and riveting array of assemblages: antique filled wooden structures brimming with myth and symbolism. Her new musical imaged work, will be given a special large space for display.
Cathleen Hahn Hopperesque’s works in oil, will draw you in on multiple levels of intimacy, as everyday actions of people and views of places are captured in the moment.
The show will run from March 4 – 29, with a reception on Friday night March 7 from 5-8 p.m., held in conjunction with the Arts District First Friday Gallery Stroll. All are welcome.
Also highlighted, will be new work in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media, collage, jewelry, photography, ceramics and sculpture, by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Cheri Cruden, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, and Dorothy Napp Schindel and represented artists: Francis Mesaros, Carol Staub, Bryan Beck, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Walford Campbell, Viola Pace Knudsen and Emily Heinzel.
Gallery 14, located at 1911 14th Ave., is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
