VERO BEACH — The Indian River County Recreation Department is now taking registrations for the 2014 Winter Basketball Season, and spots are filling up fast.
We will only honor the first five requests per team.
This co-ed league is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship, discipline, and most importantly, fun. We encourage all kids ages 4-15 to participate this season.
Player fees are $35; sponsor fees are $150.
Birth certificates are required at time of registration, which will close on Nov. 15.
Teams will be separated by age divisions.
Tot-Time: 4-5 yrs. old
Mighty Mite: 6-8 yrs. old
Midgets: 9-10 yrs. old
Juniors: 11-12 yrs. old
Seniors: 13-15 yrs. Old
Playing age must be reached by March 2, 2014.
Coaches, officials, and sponsors are needed for all age groups.
Sign up will be held at the County Administration Building or North County Aquatic Center between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
