Vero Beach Theatre Guild stages their Open House

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Theatre Guild is pleased to announce their annual Open House on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6–9 p.m. During this free event, the Guild is open to visitors who are interested in learning about volunteering at the Guild, auditioning for shows, expansion plans, or simply how the Guild produces five quality shows every season.

Everyone is invited to attend to learn more about our community theatre.

Throughout the evening, tours of the theatre and every volunteer department will be conducted, featuring volunteers who will speak of the responsibilities of the department, as well as answer any questions.

Those interested in finding out about the Guild’s fundraising efforts and needs will have an opportunity to speak with board members present. The Open House will include a rehearsal of the upcoming November production of Into the Woods, as well as a reception with light refreshments.

Guests will also have the opportunity to enter their name in a drawing to be held at the end of the Open House. Prizes will include tickets to a show this season.

The Guild is a live, community theatre celebrating its 56th anniversary on the Treasure Coast. It is a nonprofit, volunteer organization with more than 250 volunteers annually working onstage, backstage, and offstage.

We stage 5 shows each year, including two musicals. The remainder of the 2013-2014 season features Into the Woods, Harvey, Kiss Me Kate, and The Miracle Worker.

We will also have Stage Frights, a Halloween Ball, on Oct. 19.

The box office will be open for those wishing to purchase tickets to one of the remaining shows of the season or for a season ticket.

If you have ever wanted to peek under the curtain, now is your chance. Join us at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild Open House.
