VERO BEACH — Last week, a volunteer team from Alex MacWilliam, Inc., Real Estate in Vero Beach and a second team from Santana Real Estate in Sebastian worked on two homes in Habitat’s Oslo construction location.
On the construction job site, volunteer teams such as these typically work alongside either the home buyer family for that very house or a home buyer who is gathering enough sweat equity hours on someone else’s house so that he or she can begin working on their own.
It is always an exciting day when a home buyer begins to actually help build his or her very own home.
The Santana team consisted of Cuco Santana, Vicky Santana, Gerson Santana, and Mike Woodfield.
The MacWilliam team consisted of Patty Valdes, Karl Dietrich, Alex “Buzz” MacWilliam, III, Lundy Lundmark, and Roger Smith.
