Richard F. Miller, 86, Vero Beach

Richard F. Miller, 86, died March 7, 2013, at Consulate Health Care, Vero Beach.

He was born in Indianapolis and lived in Vero Beach since 1988, coming from Indianapolis.

Before retirement, he was in marketing for 45 years with the Eli Lilly Corp.

He was an Army veteran, having served in World War II.

He received his bachelor of science degree from Butler University of Indianapolis.

He was a member of the Jaycees in Beech Grove, Ind., and the Elks Lodge of Vero Beach.

He was active with the Vero Beach Dodgers and with the Republican Party.

He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Vero Beach.

Survivors include his sons, Greg Miller, of Vero Beach and Dr. John Miller, of New Castle, Ind.; daughter, Cheryl Frances, of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Miller.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. April 5 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Vero Beach.
