Carol A. Henson, 71, died July 10, 2012, at the University of Miami Hospital, Miami.
She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for one year, coming from West Palm Beach.
Before retirement, she worked as a controller for Williams Bridge Manor nursing home in the Bronx, N.Y.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Henson; son, Frank Henson, of Carmel, N.Y.; daughters, Denise Westervelt, of Hoosick Falls, N.Y. and Darlene Henson, of Carmel; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services are planned for a later date in New York.
Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
