INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River County Health Department, Indian River County HIV/AIDS Awareness Network, and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation are sponsoring the Man Up! and S.O.S. Family Matters Summit on Saturday, June 16, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Gifford Youth Activity Center located at 4875 43rd Ave. in Vero Beach.
This event kicks off with a family style breakfast for participants and offers local health vendors and guest speakers discussing topics including domestic violence, diabetes, Man Up!, and family matters, all designed to help men and women lead healthier lives.
HIV rapid testing (results in 20 minutes) and sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia will also be offered and is a great opportunity for participants to know their status.
