Dr. John Clare, 75, died May 9, 2012, at the Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Sebastian since 1992, coming from Evansville, Ind.
He was a clinical psychologist, receiving his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and his doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee.
He was a member of the American Psychological Association.
He was a champion of the Love Doctors Charities Inc.
Survivors include his son, Sean Clare, of Hermitage, Tenn; daughter, Nichole Clare-Kaiser, of Conyers, Ga.; and six grandchildren.

A life celebration gathering will be at 5:30 p.m. May 14 at Capt. Hiram’s in Sebastian.
