George Bergold, 87, died Aug. 14, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Mineola, N.Y., and lived in the Sebastian area for 47 years, coming from Medford, N.Y.
Survivors include his sons, Robert B. Bergold, of St. Petersburg, Daniel Bergold, of Roswell, Ga., and David Bergold, of Athol, Idaho; daughters, Sharon L. Poteat, of Montana and Kathleen E. James, of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Margaret Wehrhagen, of Coram, N.Y.; brother, Charles Bergold, of New York; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services and interment will be private.
