Daniel H. Bonner, 77, died March 7, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Walled Lake, Mich.
Before retirement, he worked for Ford Motor Co. as an automotive engineer.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 121 in Commerce, Mich., the Elks in Waterford, Mich., Eagle FOE, Moose Lodge, American Legion Post No. 39, and the Italian-American Club in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Diana Bonner, of Vero Beach; daughter, Barbara Bonner Markuski, of Bowie, Md.; and sisters, Ruth Schaffner, of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., Elizabeth Golick, of Kansas City, Mo., and Beryl Cardinal, of Sault Ste. Marie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Bonner; and sister, Barbara Smith.
