Robert Davidson Baldwin, 73, of Vero Beach, died March 3, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
Born in Toronto, Canada, he had lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Dorset, Vt.
He was a graduate of Western University in Ontario, Canada, and went on to a successful 40 year career in the paper industry, retiring from Federal Paper Board, in Montvale, N.J.
Survivors include his son, Jon Baldwin, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; two daughters, Wendy Baldwin Darragh, of Dover, Mass., and K. Lesley Baldwin, of Ridgefield, Conn.; one sister, Betty Ann Crosbie, of Toronto, Canada; his longtime companion, Gail D. Williams, of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
A service to celebrate his life will be held March 10 at 3 p.m. at the Community Church of Vero Beach.
Interment will be at a later date in Dorset, VT.
