Phillip Wayne Hartsfield Sr., 63, died March 15, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Vero Beach and lived in Vero Beach all his life.
He retired from Indian River County as a road and bridge division foreman.
He was a Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Vietnam War era.
Survivors include his wife, Debi Hartsfield, of Vero Beach; son, Phillip W. Hartsfield Jr., of Sebastian; daughters, Frances Hartsfield, of Sebastian and Kamala Konjevich, of Rockledge; sisters, Janet Peterson, of Tavares, Maddy Conners, of Melbourne, Dora Studer, of Vero Beach and Linda Lorton, of Tampa; brothers, Henry Hartsfield, of Lake Panasoffkee and Ed Hartsfield, of Perry; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be private.
