VERO BEACH — Children’s Home Society of Florida Treasure Coast Division (CHS) is seeking sponsors for its annual Holiday Toy Drive that will kick off mid-November and run through December 10. The children who will benefit, ages 0-17, are in the foster system through no fault of their own due to abuse, neglect and abandonment. This is a wonderful project that is well-suited for businesses, neighborhoods, extended families or circles of friends to join together during the holiday season and make a difference in the lives of children who do not have a forever family of their own.
Sponsors are assigned needs based on wish lists that are personally gathered from individual children by his/or her case manager. Gift lists, which run between 15-20 items, are gathered by case managers who will personally deliver the gifts to the children’s caregivers during the week of December 13.
Interested parties should contact Dee Benjamin, Development Specialist at 772.971.1515 or [email protected].
The Children’s Home Society Treasure Coast Division serves more than 9,000 children and their families each year in Okeechobee, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.
