VERO BEACH — International Dot Day, inspired by the children’s book, The Dot, by Peter Reynolds, is coming to Saint Edward’s Lower School on Wednesday, September 15. According to the International Dot Day website, every year on September 15, innovative educators around the world celebrate International Dot Day by making time to encourage students’ creativity. After the last International Dot Day, we were overwhelmed by wonderful stories about the “outside-the-box” activities educators invented for their students. The time is here again – this year, we encourage even more kids and grown-up kids to “make their mark” in new and exciting ways!” Students at Saint Edward’s School will have the opportunity to listen to the story, participate in a variety of Dot Day activities, and create their own dots. Among the activities planned are Dot Day Dress, Connect the Dots, Dot Day Painting, and for the young Einsteins, Dots under the Microscope. It will be dots of fun!
