Mauriene Lane Davidson died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in Vero Beach. She lived most of her life in Thomasville, Ga., and had been a resident of the Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero Beach for the past two years.
Davidson was born Nov. 29, 1914, in Edison, Ga., to Andrew and Leila Lane. She was employed for more than twenty years by the Georgia State Employment Service. She was a member of the Thomasville Rose Society and was a lifetime flower judge in the state of Georgia. She was also a member of the American Legion and Glen Arven Country Club.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Claude Lane, Charlie Lane and Robert Lane; her sisters, Margie Davis and Alice Briggs; and her husbands William Bennett, Lloyd Watson & William Davidson.
Survivors include her sisters, Rachael Holbrook and Mary Richman, both of Vero Beach; nephews Ed Holbrook, of Vero Beach and Alan Richman, of Port St. Lucie; William Lane, of Gainestown, Ala; Lloyd Briggs, of Charlotte, N.C.; and niece, Marguerite Dodgen, of Albany, Ga.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Aug. 13, 2010 at the Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Home, 1503 Dawson Road, Albany, Ga. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 13, 2010 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Albany, Ga.
