Raymond Guthrie Navarro, Jr., 91, of Orange City, died Dec. 7, 2009 at the Majestic Oaks at John Knox Village in Orange City.
Mr. Navarro was born Feb. 18, 1918 in Key West and moved to Orange City five years ago from Vero Beach.
Prior to retirement he was an Assistant Post Master for 4 years in Marathon Key. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army. Mr. Navarro was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his son David Navarro of Marathon; step-daughters Anne Firmender of Connecticut and Gloria Tyler of Florida; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family there will be no services.
