Anne Marie “Annie” Arrowsmith, 56, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Nov. 11, 2009, surrounded by friends and family.Annie graduated from Boston University, Sargent College, with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She was a dedicated Occupational Therapist in hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Annie most recently worked at Indian River Medical center, Vero Beach. Loving daughter of the late Ernestine Elita Panciera and John Nelson Welch, she was born and raised in Old Wethersfield, Conn.In addition to husband Phil Arrowsmith of Sebastian, she leaves brothers, Timothy Welch and his wife, Kathy, and Cliff Welch and his wife Anne Marie; step-daughters and their husbands, Melanie (Randy) Emberg and Katy (Shawn) LaPierre; step-grandchildren, Kyle, Leah and Oliver Emberg and Melissa, Erica and Jenna LaPierre; nieces Sarah and Jessica; nephews, Andrew and Jason.Memorial contributions can be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Anne Marie Arrowsmith.A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. on Nov. 16, 2009 at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL.
