SEBASTIAN — A 70-year-old Brevard County man was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck while walking across U.S. 1 last week, fire rescue crews and sheriff's officials said. An update on his condition was not immediately available on Monday. "All indications are that the pedestrian was crossing the roadway improperly," said Sgt. SEBASTIAN — A winning lottery ticket - worth more than $100,000 - was recently sold at a local Publix for Tuesday's drawing, officials said. The Publix Super Market at Indian River sold the Fantasy 5, quick pick ticket. The store - located at 9621 U.S. 1 just north of Barber Street in Sebastian - was the only location to sell a prize-winning ticket for Tuesday's game results. The winning numbers for the evening draw were 01-02-05-09-36, lottery officials said. The ticket buyer will receive the prize of $115,278.15. It was unclear if the winner had already claimed their prize.
