INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Deputies were investigating a possible overdose after a man’s body was found inside a recreational vehicle Tuesday morning. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were also located in the RV, said Capt. Joe Abollo, a spokesperson for the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The man’s identity was not released.
A family member found the man’s body about 8:42 a.m. Tuesday in the RV at the end of 69th Street and the Indian River Lagoon, east of U.S. 1. The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office in Fort Pierce, Abollo said.
An autopsy was scheduled to be conducted. The date for the autopsy was not immediately available.
The death remains under investigation.
