Coming Up! Lullaby Project Concert sweet start to weekend

The Learning Alliance, in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, will present the Lullaby Project Celebration Concert at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd., Vero Beach. The event showcases personalized lullabies co-created by parents and professional musicians, designed to help deepen the bond between caregivers and their children. The Vero Beach High School Spring Symphony Orchestra will take the stage at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th St. Audiences can expect a sweeping performance from some of the area’s most talented young musicians. Comedy comes alive this weekend at Riverside Theatre’s Comedy Zone, where comedians Rob Steen and Chris Robinson will bring their sharp wit and high-energy humor to the stage. Steen is known for uniting audiences with his dynamic style, while Robinson’s comedic storytelling turns both sides of every tale into laughter. The Kiwanis Vero-Treasure Coast invites families to Take a Kid Fishing at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 3. The free event is for children aged 5 to 12.
