Gallery 14 welcomes two popular photographers with a show entitled:
‘BELOW and ABOVE: Underwater Art – The Photography of Mike Ricciardi AND Wonder and Awe- Natural World Photography by John Sinclair. The show will run Tuesday April 29 – Friday May 23. There will be a Reception with the artists in attendance on Friday May 2, 5-8pm during the First Friday Gallery Stroll. Mike has been passionate about photography for the past 40 years, logging in over 1500 dives all over the world including remote locations of Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Raja Ampat and Komoto in Indonesia. He has been widely published, including Vero Beach Magazine’s cover in 2012 and the World Wildlife Fund calendar in 2018, and has won numerous awards. John specializes in showcasing the beauty of the natural world and capturing stunning scenery, wildlife and outdoor adventures. He is known for his vivid colors and ability to evoke a sense of awe in viewers. His subject matter is diverse, ranging from cities to local attractions, to world famous sites and abstract interpretations.
Featured, as well, will be watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, mixed media, assemblage, collage, sculpture, art glass, ceramic, and jewelry by Gallery 14 owners-artists: Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Jessica Leto, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Evan Schwarze and Dorothy Napp Schindel, as well as represented artists Walford Campbell, Jim Cohoe, Melanie Denison, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Mia Lindberg, Viola Pace Knudsen, Francis Mesaros, Michael Robinson, Carol Staub and Jo Zaza.
