INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 41-year-old man was jailed last week after deputies said he touched an underage girl in a sexual manner several times over four years. The 17-year-old girl told officers the acts began when she was 13, reports show.

Angel Reyes, of 96th Court, Vero Beach, was charged with lewd lascivious molestation. Reyes was held Wednesday at the Indian River County Jail on $250,000 bond.
Indian River County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a molestation Dec. 22. The girl told her mother that Reyes had been touching her inappropriately, reports show.
The girl told deputies that the acts would occur at least once a month at places where she and Reyes were alone, including a trailer at Reyes’ workplace, officials said.
Reyes denied the allegations against him.
Deputies arrested Reyes and booked him into the county jail. Reyes has an arraignment at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 16, 2023, court records show.
