Mary Agnes Chapados Gaito, 72, Vero Beach
Mary Agnes Chapados Gaito, 72, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2020. She was born Aug. 25, 1948, in Island Falls, Maine, to Diane and George Chapados.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Martha Chapados, brothers Raymond Chapados, William Chapados, George Chapados Jr, and the love of her, life Robert Gaito.
Mary loved spending time with her family sharing memories and telling stories with her quick wit and sense of humor. She enjoyed her loyal chihuahua Lu Lu by her side and liked to spend her days gardening and sharing her love of food and cooking.
As a devout catholic, she had a servant heart, and helped others throughout her lifetime. Her favorite bible verse are words she lived her life by… Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”.
Mary is survived by her sister and her husband Margaret and Kenneth Batchelder, her daughter Tammy Riley, son and daughter-in-law Arthur and Alexis Riley, grandchildren Connor Riley, Katherine Canton and Sean Canton, as well as her many nephews and niece. She loved everyone deeply.

An intimate celebration of life will take place in her hometown of Island Falls Maine, where Mary will be laid to rest with her family.
