Michael James Fisher, 50, Sebastian
Michael James Fisher, 50, died April 25, 2020, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. He was born in Lexington, Ky., and moved to Sebastian in 1998.
Michael worked for WalMart in Sebastian, where he loved to assist shoppers with making sure the shopping carts were readily available. Each day on the job he walked the pavement proudly running in and out of the store with carts and if you were lucky enough you would catch a glimpse of his radiant smile that he shared with all those whom he came in contact with; he never met a stranger he met his friend for life.
Michael was a member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, Sebastian, where he loved praising and worshiping His Lord and Savior.
Survivors include his parents, Stephen Joseph and Teresa Fisher, of Sebastian; sister, Rachael Fisher, of Metamora, Ind.; brother, Eric Fisher, of Elburg, Netherlands; nieces, Amber and Ashley Webber; and nephews, Dakota Gray and Stephen Joseph Fisher.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Michael James Fisher.
A Private Celebration of Life service will be held for Michael. Interment will take place at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian, Florida. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, 1623 North Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida 32958.
