Spring Orchestra Concert begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th St. The program showcases student musicians performing a selection of classical and contemporary orchestral works as part of the school’s spring performance series. The Space Coast Symphony Season Announcement Party and “The Music Between Us” recital begins at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd., Vero Beach. The ticketed party includes a season preview, meet-and-greet with conductor Aaron Collins and musicians, and opportunities to renew subscriptions, followed by a free 2 p.m. recital featuring soprano Tesia Kwarteng and pianist Jacob Craig performing works from Bizet to Gershwin. The MFCF USTA Pro Circuit Tennis Championships take place daily from Monday, May 4, through Sunday, May 10, at Sea Oaks Beach & Tennis Club, 8825 S. Highway A1A, Vero Beach. The professional tournament supports the Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation, which funds local afterschool and summer programs for youth in the community. McKee Botanical Garden’s “Florigami in the Garden” exhibition will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sunday, May 24, at 350 U.S. 1, Vero Beach. The outdoor exhibit features large-scale metal sculptures inspired by the art of origami, displayed throughout the garden’s landscaped grounds and winding pathways.
