The family moved from Scranton to New Jersey and Memphis before settling in Maryland. Bob earned a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland and later received his MBA in Finance from Loyola University.
Bob was a man of many talents, energy, and passions. After college, he began his career as a process chemist at Becton Dickinson in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he later purchased Angelina’s, a beloved Baltimore City restaurant. Under Bob’s ownership, Angelina’s became famous for its award-winning crab cakes, gracing the cover of Baltimore Magazine several times. After 18 successful years, Bob sold Angelina’s and began a new chapter as a financial planner with Smith Barney. His sharp analytical mind, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine care for others made him deeply respected by his clients, colleagues, and loved ones alike.
An avid golfer, Bob was proud to have achieved an impressive four holes-in-one over the years. He was a member and board member at Indian River Club in Vero Beach and a former member of Hunt Valley Golf and Country Club, where he once earned the title of Club Champion.
Deeply committed to his community, Bob served as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Baltimore and spent 12 years as director of the Baltimore Science Fair—an event that reflected his lifelong love of learning and science.
