BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF ST. LUCIE, INDIAN RIVER AND OKEECHOBEE COUNTIES TO HOST 17TH ANNUAL CHOCOLATE, CHAMPAGNE AND CHEFS ON OCT. 27

VERO BEACH – Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties will host its 17th Annual Chocolate, Champagne and Chefs (CCC) event on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 at 6 o’clock in the evening at the Quail Valley River Club in Vero Beach, Florida.

The nonprofit’s mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of our youth. BBBS programs are free for all participants, so fundraisers like CCC are crucial to maintaining a community that offers every opportunity for our youth to achieve their full potential.

The elegant evening will begin with cocktails, champagne and hors d’oeuvres followed by a seated dinner. Attendees will then enjoy a delicious tour of decadent chocolate desserts created by prominent local chefs. There will be a live auction, as well as raffles gifted by generous local businesses and boutiques.

This year’s impressive chef lineup includes D’s Gourmet Sweet Potato Pies Owner and Chef Delitra Harrigan, Flavored Fork Catering Owner and Chef Matthew Piscitelli, Pretty Little Cupcakes Owner and Chef Monique Robbins, Treasure Coast Sweets Owner and Chef Samantha Santana Tiru, and Quail Valley River Club Chef Jesus Yanez.

BBBS will welcome Indian River State College Associate Vice President of Government and Community Relations Andrew Treadwell to speak to guests about his mentorship journey as a Big Brother. Treadwell has been a dedicated supporter of BBBS for over 20 years, serving as an advocate for the nonprofit and as a Big Brother to two Little Brothers.

“Mr. Treadwell has given selflessly of his time and talent as a Big Brother, and the difference he has made in the lives of his two Little Brothers is beyond remarkable,” said Debbie Hawley, BBBS chief executive officer. “Listening to him share his experiences as a Big Brother is heartwarming and inspiring, and we look forward to honoring him on Oct. 27.”
