Voter Registration Deadline Approaching for November Municipal Elections

Indian River County, FL – The deadline is quickly approaching to be eligible to vote in the upcoming municipal elections.  Monday, October 6 is the deadline to be registered to vote for the November 4 elections for the Cities of Fellsmere and Vero Beach city council races.  The City of Sebastian will not have an election on November 4.  All new voter registration applications received after the October 6 deadline will be processed for future elections.

To register to vote online, go to RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov. To register to vote using a paper application, mail or deliver your completed application to the Supervisor of Elections office located at 4375 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach.  

To review your voter registration status, visit VoteIndianRiver.gov and click “I Want To…” and next select “Check My Voter Registration Status.”  When reviewing your registration status, voters can confirm their residential address of record and polling location.  Voters can even view a photo of their Election Day polling site and driving directions furnished by Google Maps.

The easiest way to make changes to your residential or mailing address within the State of Florida is online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.Gov or by calling the Elections Office at 772-226-4700.   It is important that the Elections Office have your current residential address to ensure that you are voting in the correct precinct.

Registered voters who need to update their voter record are encouraged to make these updates prior to Election Day to avoid any delays at the polls. For comprehensive elections information visit VoteIndianRiver.gov.
