INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Residents who want to see plans for upcoming improvements to the county’s roadways, the construction of new streets along with upgrades in transportation are invited to a series of workshops held this week.
The Indian River County Metropolitan Planning Organization will host the events. The 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Cost workshops will be held at the following times and locations on Thursday:

The workshops aim to produce a cost-feasible plan for the projects. Officials with the Metropolitan Planning Organization are midway through completing the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan.
“This plan is your plan, but you can only help shape it if you engage with us,” county officials said.
