Loretta Jane Morton, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born on February 18, 1939, in Bristol, Tennessee, Loretta was the cherished daughter of Charles and Virginia Umberger. From an early age, she developed a deep love for her faith, dedicating her life to serving Jehovah. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 9, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. Since 1964, she was a devoted and active member of the Valley Station Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she was known for her faithful service, warm spirit, and genuine love for others.
Loretta will be remembered as a compassionate, kind, and gentle woman whose quiet strength and caring heart touched the lives of everyone she met. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially taking long walks and visiting the Louisville Zoo with her beloved late husband, James. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of her cherished University of Louisville Cardinals football team and enjoyed relaxing while watching a good round of golf.
Above all, Loretta’s life was marked by her unwavering faith, her loving nature, and the kindness she freely shared with family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Loretta will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing to all whose lives she touched.
Loretta is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, James F. Morton; and her parents, Charles Eugene Umberger and Virginia Eva Teny Umberger.
Left to cherish her memory, Loretta is survived by her loving sister, Emma Sue Brown.
A funeral service for Mrs. Loretta Morton will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West will follow the funeral service.

Kerry Ann Stalker, 61, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Tampa

Kerry A. Stalker, 61, of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida after a brief illness.
Born Kerry Ann Mordarski on August 24, 1964 in Berea, Ohio, Kerry was the daughter of Dennis John Mordarski, Sr. and Barbara Joan (Chapman) Mordarski. She was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School and attended the University of Toledo before joining the Ohio National Guard.
She continued to proudly and passionately serve her country in the United States Army both as a soldier at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and later as a civilian employee with the Department of Defense at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, where she was serving at the time of her passing.
Before working as a civilian employee for the Department of Defense, She earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as Director of Safe Havens in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where her compassion and advocacy touched the lives of countless individuals and families.
Those left to honor her memory include her loving husband, Dennis Stalker of Fayetteville, NC, her beloved daughter, Danielle Stalker of Fayetteville, NC, her father, Dennis J. Mordarski, Sr., of Raeford, NC, and her brother, Daniel (Becky) Mordarski of Fayetteville, NC, along with her cherished nephews and nieces, Matthew (Andrea) Mordarski, Deidre Mordarski, Steven Mordarski, Katie Mordarski, and four great-nephews and nieces, Chase, Kaine, Luke, and Harper, as well as the many friends and colleagues she counted as family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Joan (Chapman) Mordarski and brother, Dennis John Mordarski, Jr.
Kerry enjoyed lively conversation and was an enthusiastic supporter of her family and friends, including her beloved grand-dogs, Enzo and Oliver. In fact, she rarely met a four-legged creature that she didn’t fall in love with. She was also devoted to her job and those she worked with. Her determination, passion, and love for her family, friends, and work will be cherished and missed by all.
An informal celebration of Kerry’s life will be held on August 15, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. at the Embassy Suites, 4760 Lake Valley Dr., Fayetteville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Tilted Acres Rescue & Adoptions (TARA Rescue) (https://tararescue.org), two causes that reflect Kerry’s compassionate heart and enduring love for children and animals.

Cora Lee Griffith, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on July 21, 2026.
Cora Lee was born on July 20, 2026, to her loving parents, Joseph and Chloe Griffith.
Though her time on earth was brief, Cora Lee was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her. She brought immeasurable love into the lives of those around her and will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
She is survived by her devoted parents, who will cherish her memory always. While they grieve the loss of their precious daughter, they find comfort in knowing that Cora Lee is now an angel watching over them.
She will be loved, remembered, and missed beyond words.

Granger – Thomas David Reinoehl, 76

Granger – Thomas David Reinoehl, 76, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Thomas was born on March 26, 1950, in South Bend to the late Russell and Betty (Douglas) Reinoehl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Reinoehl and Daniel Reinoehl, and his sister, Peggy Reinoehl.
Tom was a proud graduate of Penn High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably in West Berlin, Germany as a Staff Sergeant in the Military Police.
He met the love of his life, Donna Norden, and the two were united in marriage on February 18, 1984, in Schererville. Together they shared 42 loving years of marriage.
Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Reinoehl; his children, Jason (Jennifer) Reinoehl, Bradley Reinoehl, and Kyle (Jennifer) Reinoehl; and his beloved grandchildren, Jason II, Samuel, Sarah, Leah, Talitha, Mia Jo, Addison, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his niece, Nicky Reinoehl (Neil Barth); sisters, Becky (Dan) Sweazy, Kathleen Reinoehl, and Annie (Jay) Martin; along with numerous friends and associates who will deeply miss him.
Tom worked hard throughout his life and was the proud owner and operator of TDR Construction, where he built many homes throughout the Michiana area. Later, he continued his career with DC Meats, where he enjoyed seasoning sausages and bratwurst and preparing fine cuts of meat.
An avid outdoorsman, Tom lived and breathed fishing and spent every moment he could on the water. He loved sharing his passion and knowledge of fishing with family and friends across countless lakes and streams. Most weekends, he could be found on Paradise Lake or Birch Lake alongside his brother Gary, his loyal fishing companion of more than 50 years.
To know Tom was to know a man with a generous heart, always willing to help anyone in need. He also proudly served for many years with the Saint Joseph County Sheriff’s Horse Posse, participating in county parades, fairs, and Notre Dame game events. When he wasn’t fishing, Tom also enjoyed rabbit, pheasant, and quail hunting with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service is being planned, beginning with U.S. Army honors being rendered. The date and time will be announced at a later time.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
John Jerome Fish Jr., 80, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on April 21, 2026. Born in Chicago, IL, on October 28, 1945, John was the son of the late John J. Fish Sr. and Marjorie (Bea) Fish.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pam Fish. He is survived by his son, Kevin Fish, and his two granddaughters, Andi and Ella.
An avid reader and an even more avid conversationalist, John had a genuine love for people and cherished time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed photography, sailing, mystery movies and television shows, and was always willing to share his time, stories, and companionship with others.
Services for John will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10766 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561. Friends and family are invited to gather and visit prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday August 8, 2026.
