In Loving Memory of Sharon Rae Batten
Sharon Rae Batten, 89, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sheldon, Iowa, Sharon was a vibrant and stylish woman whose warmth and kindness touched many lives. She built a successful career in fashion, most notably as the owner of Sharon Batten, her beloved boutique in Vero Beach, Florida, where she empowered women to feel confident and beautiful for many years.
Sharon’s greatest joy was her family, and she shared a deep and loving partnership with her husband, Howard, for over 50 years. She is survived by her husband, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Those unable to attend in person may join via livestream at: https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/sharon-batten.
