When Reena and Nathan Ryall decided to move to Vero Beach, they were attracted to Marbrisa’s old Florida feeling and connection to nature. The neighborhood is conveniently located near the Environmental Learning Center and Historic Jungle Trail, providing a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility.

“We love the environment, sense of community, and the trees. Living close to the river and the ocean makes this neighborhood an awesome little pocket,” shares Nathan.

Fine finishes are abundant throughout the Arthur Rutenberg-designed home at 641 Marbrisa River Lane in the Marbrisa subdivision, a testament to its quality and luxury.

Crown molding, recessed wall alcoves, luxe vinyl flooring, built-ins and cove ceilings, all contribute to the home’s upscale appeal.

“This house is great for a family but also has a floorplan that will accommodate a multigenerational family,” says ONE Sotheby’s International Realty broker associate Cindy O’Dare, co-listing agent along with Richard Boga.

The Ryalls agree that the spacious kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and luxurious primary suite “make it a perfect fit for families.”

Double-entry glass doors open into the foyer and formal living room. A wood-burning fireplace and sliding glass doors are inviting features in the open living space where abundant natural light filters in through transoms, adding to the spacious ambiance of lofty ceilings.

To the left of the foyer, an office with a built-in desk is located just outside the primary suite, strategically placed to optimize privacy in the secluded section of the residence. A closet increases the flexibility of this space as an additional bedroom if needed.

The large primary bedroom features a “retreat” room – an open octagon that overlooks the screened pool – which provides a perfect spot to curl up with a book or use as an office or a workout room. Nearby, glass doors open onto the screened lanai for convenient entry to the pool.

On the opposite side of the suite is an opulent bath with dual sinks, a water closet, a walk-in shower, a soaking tub and a walk-in closet.

Three guest bedrooms and the communal gathering areas complete the right wing, along with the dining room, laundry room and garage access.

Partial walls in the dining room create an open and inviting area that seamlessly flows into the formal living room, which is optimal for large and small gatherings.

Two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath, and the bath for the third bedroom doubles as a cabana bath.

The kitchen, breakfast nook and family room buffer the other spaces and provide a warm, central location for family gatherings.

The wet bar is easily accessed from the family room and formal living room as guests flow from room to room and out onto the screened lanai, ensuring you can make the most of the indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

“Our home features a spacious and inviting layout, perfect for entertaining family and friends,” says Reena. “The natural light throughout the house creates a bright and cheerful atmosphere.”

An island at the center of the kitchen expands the prep area with a desk and pantry, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the layout. Direct views from the kitchen to the pool through the wraparound corner window in the breakfast nook ensure you can keep an eye on the children as they play in the pool while you lay out summer snacks or prep for dinner.

Outside, there’s plenty of room around the screened pool to lounge in the sun or shade. Plumbed for a summer kitchen, it’s perfect for family cookouts while the little ones play in the pool.

Sited on a large, nearly one-acre corner lot, the lushly landscaped backyard backs up to the Indian Trails easement, ensuring plenty of privacy and providing lots of room to play, something the Ryalls enjoy.

“We absolutely love the serene environment and the sense of community here. The beautiful surroundings and the proximity to both the river and the beach have made living here a truly wonderful experience. As a fourth-generation Vero Beach native, I can attest to the unique charm of this area,” says Nathan.

Marbrisa is a private, ocean-to-river, gated community with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Jungle Trail and Indian River Lagoon to the west. Two clubhouses provide abundant amenities. The west clubhouse has an exercise/fitness room, sauna, Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball, a screened pool and day docks. Across the road, the oceanfront clubhouse offers granted beach access, a pool and a kitchen.
