Keera Oneisha Brabham, 29, Sunrise
February 24, 1994 – December 26, 2023
Keera Oneisha Brabham was born on February 24, 1994 in Mount Vernon, New York. She was the last born of three to Curtis and Juliet Brabham. In 1997, the family moved to Vero Beach, Florida to take care of her great grandparents. Keera spent her early years attending Highlands Elementary where she was also enrolled in the gifted program. She later went on to attend Oslo Middle School before ultimately graduating from Vero Beach Charter High School where she also completed the dual enrollment program at Indian River State College.
Keera went on to continue her education at FAMU in Tallahassee, Florida before transferring to Tallahassee Community College, where she successfully completed her associate’s degree. While in Tallahassee, Keera was looking to become a Registered Nurse but later found that her true gift and passion was esthetics. Keera decided to step out on faith and looked to make a career change so she moved back to Vero Beach where she birthed her business in her parent’s home. It was at that moment that Shaded Esthetics was born.
In 2017, Keera met Rick Francois and in 2019 they would bring forth a handsome boy named Niko. Keera then moved her business out of her parent’s house, worked in two different shops in Vero Beach before finally deciding on moving to Broward County in 2020. In 2021, Keera received her bachelor’s degree from Indian River State College and put all of her focus into becoming an independent and established Esthetician in the Broward area where she was published in Voyagemia.com, an online magazine in Miami.
As business bloomed, Keera made another shift. In August of 2023, Keera upgraded to a new location in Sunrise, Florida. Outside of work, Keera loved to spend time with her son, family, and friends, loved to take pictures, go fishing, and travel. Keera also made sure to keep a close relationship with the Lord. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 27, which she even had tattooed on her leg. Keera also made sure that her son knew the Lord and they prayed before bed each night.
At the tender age of 29, on December 26, 2023 , Keera went on to be with the lord. Keera is preceded in death by her grandparents, Florence Brabham and William Brown; her great grandparents, Ronald and Una Mowatt; her godparents, Grover and Mamie Belcher.
She leaves behind her son: Niko (Rick Francois) of Miami, FL; her parents: Curtis and Juliet Brabham of Vero Beach, FL; sisters: Fallon (Antoine Sr.) Jennings of Vero Beach, FL, Stephanie Gladman of Broward County, FL; grandparents: Junia R. (Franklin) Wilson of New Jersey and Vendryes Johnson of Vero Beach, FL; one nephew and niece: Antoine Jr. and Avonti Jennings of Vero Beach, FL; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. May Keera’s soul rest in peace and light perpetually shine upon her.
