Ida Louise (Mulligan) Salois, 95
March 25, 1928 – November 30, 2023
Ida Louise (Mulligan) Salois passed away peacefully at her home in Florida on November 30, 2023. She was born in New Rochelle New York on March 25, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Alma (Compton) and Fred Reilly.
She was married to her first husband, Frank Mulligan, on September 4, 1954. He predeceased her on July 17, 1988. She was married to her second husband, Raymond L. Salois on June 19, 1999. He predeceased her on June 12, 2017.
Mrs. Salois worked at the American Can Company for 39 years. She started in their New York City headquarters after graduating from Albert Leonard Vocational High School. She retired from their Greenwich Connecticut headquarters in 1985.
Mrs. Salois was a lifelong dancer. She started with dance lessons at the Haskell Dance Studio in New Rochelle, NY at the age of 3. She was on WFAS Radio Station, danced at the Glen Island Casino, the Loew’s and Proctor Theaters, Playland Park in New York, and many other places in and around Westchester County. She entertained the troops in Ft. Slocum, New York during World War II. She continued to “cut the rug” throughout her life with the most beautiful dance moves. She was an avid reader and loved author, Danielle Steele.
Mrs. Salois belonged to the Republican Party and worked during her younger years as a party volunteer. Mrs. Salois did volunteer work for WW Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut, for over 10 years, after her retirement. She also volunteered for Project Independence in Connecticut.
She was a loyal member of the Sebastian Florida branch of the Moose, Orioles, and Eagles Clubs until 2015.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Lori Latour and husband, Chris, of Sebastian FL., her nephew James Mulligan and wife, Linda, of Oak Creek Wisconsin, her step-daughter-in-law Marie Rouillard and husband, Brian, of Plainfield CT. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, scattered about the US, from her 2 marriages.
A service of remembrance will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 N. Central Ave. Sebastian FL., on December 4th from 1-3pm. She will then be transported to Beachwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle New York. A graveside service will follow. Arrangements to be made with George T. Davis Funeral Home, New Rochelle New York. June McHenry, 88, Fort Lauderdale
June 11, 1935 – November 24, 2023
June was born in Wallasey, England where she went on to be a beauty pageant winner and soon after met her loving husband, Charles than soon married.
After settling in the United States, June gave birth to her first Son, William in Tennessee, soon after they were transferred with the US Air force to Massachusetts where she gave birth to her son James.
Through many Militaries transfers the family settled in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
As she raised her boys eventually went back to school and became a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac care.
June loved to dance and studied ballroom dancing, but she was also very artistic and did many paintings.
June loved a good party and would always enjoy the many holiday celebrations as well as spending time at her son Bills house where she became a hit with his friends and neighbors that loved her spunk. Even when at the local beachside bar, she got up on stage to sing and play the tambourine with her daughter in law for her birthday, needless to say she was a hit with the crowd.
June always made an impression on everyone she met due to her natural beauty and charisma. June had an intense love for her family and was an amazing Mom.
She enters into to heaven to join her loving husband, Charles R. McHenry.
She will be missed dearly by her sons, William McHenry and his wife, Margaret and James McHenry and his wife, Catherine, granddaughters, Katie McHenry and Brittany McHenry.

Patricia Ann Blaga (nee De Rosa), 83, Sebastian
March 19, 1940 – December 1, 2023
Patricia Ann Blaga (nee De Rosa) passed away on December 1, 2023, at her residence in Sebastian, Florida. Pat’s husband, John Alan Blaga, preceded her in death, as well as her parents, and siblings, William Paul, Johnnie Kay Gurtner, and Linder Scott. Pat is survived by her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Blaga of Naples, Florida, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat was the daughter of William and Cola De Rosa, and was born on March 19, 1940, in Athens, Georgia. She and John were married in 1962 in Sanford, Florida, and after they married moved to John’s hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio. After living in Cincinnati for over 25 years, Pat and John moved to Sebastian, Florida in 1997 upon John’s retirement as a Ford dealer.
Pat was very active in a wide variety of charitable/civic/religious organizations in both Ohio and Florida. She chaired the annual Fantasy Ball that raised millions for young people in the greater Cincinnati area. She was also a loyal member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) in which she held a variety of leadership positions throughout her nearly three decades of dedicated service. Two of her many responsibilities with the DAR were Development National Vice Chairwoman and Librarian for the Treasure Coast Chapter of the DAR.
Above all, Pat was a gifted artist. Her paintings and ceramics were works of perfection, and she always relished giving her art away to both family and friends alike. She had the great honor of taking classes with some of the most gifted porcelain artists in the world, assisting her in becoming a highly accomplished artist in her own right.

Lindley J. Bieber, 73, Vero Beach
May 13, 1950 – December 9, 2023
Lindley J. Bieber, 73 of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on December 9, 2023.
He was proceeded in death by his brother Frederick Bieber, his wife of 46 years Janet Bieber, his mother Marion Irene Bieber and his father Walter Bieber.
He leaves behind his wife Patricia Bieber, his son Greg Bieber and daughter Stephanie Bieber; his granddaughters Mia McCormack & Zoe Bieber. Grandsons Alex (Becky) Crain, Zach Crain & Jude Rettemnier. His great grandson Roy Crain.
In addition, Lin had stepchildren Jennifer (Greg) Budde John (Cindy) Thornton and grandchildren Jared (Nicole), Beverly, Eli & Graham Thornton, Mike & Owen Rettemnier, his Stepmother Barbara Bieber and his siblings Phylis (James) Williams, Cynthia (David) Burke, Richard Slutzker, Thomas (Karen) Bieber, Andrew (Carol) Bieber, Barbie Bieber, Mathew Bieber, Brian Bieber & Walter (Olga) Bieber.
He was born in Altoona, PA on May 13, 1950. He moved to Bowie, Maryland where he attended high school and some college. After high school Lindley married his high school sweetheart, Janet Bieber. He was a successful business man for several decades with several businesses although Alto Glass company was his pride and joy. Lindley loved to play golf, ski, scuba dive, and to travel which he often did with his wife and two kids. Lindley moved to Florida in the 90’s where he enjoyed time with all of his siblings and his large family. After his wife Janet passed, Lindley was fortunate to find Patricia. Lindley felt his family was most important to him and spent his last decade with Patricia, his kids and grandkids and large family.
Lindley had a peaceful spirit, whistling constantly as he went about his day. If Lindley enjoyed something, he absolutely loved to share it with everyone around him. Lindley enjoyed telling very detailed stories, but the twinkle in his eye or his laughter often got ahead of the punch line. But nothing was more characteristic of Lindley than his laugh, which was so infectious and he always loved to make people laugh with him.
A Service in his Memory will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 @10:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Vero Beach, 941 18th Street, Vero Beach.

John E. Stannard, 74, Vero Beach
August 25, 1949 – December 11, 2023
John E. Stannard, 74 years old of Vero Beach, FL died Monday 12/11/23 at VNA House in Vero Beach.
Born and raised in Troy, NY, he was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Eleanor Stannard and his niece Tina Ryan.
John served in the US Navy and was a cargo and corporate jets pilot for 33 years combined.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Emerita J Stannard, a brother and a sister, Jeff (Debra Cole) Stannard and Carol Stannard, nieces/nephew Katie (Michael) Ricci, Todd (Amy) Stannard, Krista (Bryan) Zajesky.
Burial is scheduled on 12/15/23 at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of John E. Stannard to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children 516 Carew Street Springfield, MA 01104.
