Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach Expands the Community Fridge Project

Mueller Campus at IRSC Schumann Building is the location of Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach’s 3rd Community Fridge (one in Fellsmere and one in Gifford). The family of Rotarian Jim Thompson, who passed away with 65 years of perfect attendance, daughter Laura Kennedy and son David Thompson, donated the fridge through Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach. This Community Fridge has dry staples storage shelves, place for dress up clothes & shoes for student job interviews. Fridge open hours are during school hours. 8:30-6:30 M-F and till noon on Saturday.

Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach environmental committee chair, Sue Flak, brought the Fridge project to Sunrise and the rest is history.
