INDIAN RIVER FIREFIGHTERS BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES THE 2ND ANNUAL “FIREFIGHTERS FOR CLEAN WATER OFFSHORE FISHING TOURNAMENT”

The Indian River Firefighters Benevolent Association (IRFFBA) is thrilled to announce its 2nd annual Firefighters for Clean Water Offshore Fishing Tournament to be held at the Sebastian Salt Water Marina on June 17th, 2023. 

The tournament, a brainchild of the IRFFBA, serves as a platform to raise funds and awareness for clean water initiatives, aligning with their core mission of community service and environmental stewardship. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a day of exciting competition, a chance to make a significant difference, and compete for a share of the impressive $12,000 total purse. 

“We’re calling all experienced and aspiring anglers to join us for a day of fishing and fun. This tournament is more than just an opportunity to reel in the big one; it’s a chance to contribute to a cause that has a lasting impact on our community and the environment,” said Brad Eskew, President of the Indian River Firefighters Benevolent Association. 

Registration for the Firefighters for Clean Water Offshore Fishing Tournament is now open. Participants can register online at www.irffb.com. Early bird registration is encouraged to secure a spot. 

“We’re excited to combine our love for fishing with our passion for the environment,” added Eskew. “We are grateful for the support of our community and hope to make a significant contribution to clean water initiatives through this tournament.”
