Artist Meet and Greet November 2nd at ELC

Vero Beach, Florida-The Environmental Learning Center is hosting an Artist Meet and Greet for the sixteen artists in “It’s The Little Things” a 12” by 12” show and the two featured artists in the Tidal Gallery.  The public is invited to meet the artists and stroll the two galleries featuring their nature-inspired artwork between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 2nd. There will be food, drinks and musical entertainment by Don Gioella. Guests are asked to RSVP to Sue Harr at Sue@DiscoverELC.org and a $5 donation is suggested.   

“It’s The Little Things” features sixteen artists and the exhibit has forty-three pieces of work.  The artists are May Brandt, Judy Burgarella, Camy DeMario, Mary Ann Hall, J. Scott Kelley, Barbara Landry, Katherine Larson, Karen Marsh, Phyllis Petrillo, Annie, Talley, Kathleen A. Raymond, LuAnn Sampson, Mark San Souci, Kevin Thompson, Barbara A. Whitlam, and Arlene Willnow. 

Valerie Cecire is the featured artist in the Tidal Gallery and will be exhibiting her contemporary landscapes. She is an award-winning artist whose art pieces are impressions and concepts derived from nature with abstract dimensions.  Cathy K. Ferrell is also showing bronze sculptures during this show.   All of the artwork is available for purchase. 

The ELC is committed to displaying artwork from a wide diversity of artists and artwork mediums that align with its mission to educate and empower all people to be active stewards of the environment and their own well-being.  The Environmental Learning Center is open seven days a week and “It’s The Little Things” and Valerie Cecire and Cathy K. Ferrell’s Shows can be seen through the end of December.  

The ELC is a nonprofit nature center located at the western side of the Wabasso Bridge on the Indian River Lagoon at 255 Live Oak Drive in Vero Beach, Florida.  It is a destination for walking trails, canoeing and kayaking, and pontoon tours.  The ELC has a Touch Tank and aquariums and space is available for meetings and social occasions.  For information on all of the activities and programs, please visit www.discoverELC.org.
