A little drizzle didn’t stop crowds from descending upon Royal Palm Pointe for the 10th annual Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest hosted by Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach.
As music blared from both ends of the strip, folks wandered from booth to booth, choosing from more than 200 craft brews, and nibbling on a brood of chicken wings in a dizzying array of flavors whipped up by local restaurants, nonprofits and independent cooks. Much to everyone’s amusement, there was also a root beer tasting competition for youngsters to judge and a wing eating contest for adults. The Individual Chef’s Award went to Hodge Podge, Davila’s Pizza won the Restaurant Division, and the Vero Beach Little League Baseball won the People’s Choice and Spirit Awards.
