A Jonathan Edwards concert is well-described as warm as summer sunshine, as real as the truth and as intimate as a long overdue visit between old friends. Four decades into a stellar career of uncompromising musical integrity, the man casually delivers… song after song…filled with passion, songs of insight and songs of humor, all rendered in that pure and powerful tenor which, like fine wine, have only grown sweeter with age. You’ll hum to some favorite classics such as “Sunshine (Go Away Today),”and “Sometimes in the Morning.”
Livingston “Liv” Taylor has never stopped performing since those early coffeehouse days, sharing the stage with major artists such as Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Buffett, and Jethro Tull. He is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal upbeat storytelling, anecdotes and ineffable warmth that connect him to his fans. His relaxed on-stage presence belies the depth of his range of musical genres—folk, pop, gospel, jazz—and touching ballads to full orchestra performances. Enjoy top 40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You” and “I’ll Come Running,” to “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the last two recorded by his brother James Taylor. Listen closely to his softly sung and beautifully moving rendition of “Somewhere Under the Rainbow.”
