Wind Quartet welcomes the Season at Vero’s Center for Spiritual Care

December 1st 7pm

With music from Bach to Bliss, the Tropical Winds Quartet will bring in the holiday season with its annual concert at the Center for Spiritual Care Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.  The Center is located at 1550 24th St., at the corner of 16th Ave., in Vero Beach.

“The evening will be aglow with traditional music of the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons,” said Center director Carol Ludwig.  “These charming free concerts are always standing-room-only events, so reservations are a must.”   Seats are available by calling 772-567-1233.

The quartet is composed of musicians who spend most of their time performing with professional orchestras and chamber groups.  They are Jane Weise, flute; Debbie Pillorge’, oboe; Bonnie Meyers, clarinet; and Edward Sheridan, bassoon. The program will also feature a guest performer, flutist Toby Connery.

“Chamber music written for woodwind quartets is particularly popular with audiences,” Ludwig says, “because of the compatible blend of sound color.”
