Robert Vance Cheney, 76, Vero Beach

Robert Vance Cheney, age 76, of Vero Beach, passed away June 23, 2021.
He was born July 18, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Rosslyn and Eloise Cheney. Robert moved to Vero Beach from Tecumseh, Michigan.
He was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. Prior to his retirement in 1999, Robert worked for the Federal Bureau of Corrections in Milan, Michigan.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Cheney (John) Clark and Monica Cheney (Gordon) Higman; sister, Suzanne Sawyer; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife, Judith “Judy” Cheney and his in-laws, Ward and Ruth Coon.

Carole Cecilia Keneven, 79
November 15, 1941 – June 15, 2021
Carole Cecilia Keneven was born November 15,1941 in Glen Cove, NY. Her Dad was Richard George Keneven, deceased August 1994. Her Mom was Mae Green Keneven, she died 1989. Carole was an only child. Carole was a Special Olympic gold medalist 16 times in the state of Florida. She was an avid walker and bowler. She was a member of Special Gathering Choir. Carole loved gospel concerts and traveled all over with her friend and care giver Priscilla (Susie ) Painter enjoying gospel music. Carole was Catholic and worked the Tootsie Roll drive and the Harvest Festival with Susie for 18 years for St. Helen’s Church. Carole was a member of Special Olympics, Special Gatherings, Aktion Kiwanis, Care Group at St. Helen’s Church and Sun UP. No service at this time but Pastor Linda Howard of Special Gathering Ministry will do a service at a later date.
