Janet Marie Sutherlin, age 88, of Vero Beach, passed away June 14, 2021, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
She was born September 3, 1932, in Danville, Virginia to the late Clarence and Sallie (Andrews) Allmond.
Janet had formerly worked with the Pittsylvania County Health Department, Chatham, Virginia and as a Home Health Nurse for 26 years.
Mrs. Sutherlin was a member of King’s Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her brother, Duane Vernand (Loral Lee) Allmond of Danville, Virginia; sons, Vernon Edward (Kristen) Lovell of Ashburn, Virginia and David Alan (Tanya) Lovell of Alexandria, Virginia; and grandchildren, Lauren, Christopher, Kyle and Kevin of Ashburn, Virginia.
She was predeceased by husbands, Jack Edward Lovell and Roger Babson Sutherlin.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at King’s Baptist Church, Vero Beach. The time is to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to King’s Baptist Church Barnabas Ministries or Building Fund, 3235 58th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32966.

Nancy Jean Baker, 67, Vero Beach
February 20, 1954 – June 8, 2021
Nancy Jean Baker of Vero Beach, Florida passed away unexpectedly at home with her dogs by her side on June 8th, 2021. She was born in Sodus, New York on February 20th, 1954 to the late James and Alma Walbourn. After graduating from SUNY Alfred in 1974, Nancy spent her life in care and service to others as a registered nurse. She enjoyed cheering for the Braves, watching NASCAR, listening to Freddy Mercury, and playing with her grandchildren Amelia, Lydia, and Jax.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Luanne Lewis (Andrew) and Jenypher Martin. Her nephew Keith Stay and his children Claudia and Nathan. Her sisters Kathy House (Larry) and Judy Konowitz (John) and Cousin Jeff Klee.
Her family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the many supportive friends for caring for Nancy the last four years as she battled the challenges living with a brain injury. There will be a Celebration of Life honoring Nancy on June 26th 1:00-3:00 at the Vero Palm Estates Club House 1405 82nd Ave. Vero Beach, Fl.
