Indian River County verified 43 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, along with six new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health county report. This raises the total amount of county cases to 10,093, while the death count increased to 244.

The numbers in the reports are provisional and subject to change. Health officials said 108 out of the 244 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.

There have been 613 COVID-19 hospitalizations in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

There were 26 people still hospitalized as of Saturday, according to the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

For the Indian River County cases among residents, 6,730 were white, 1,001 were black, 897 were listed as “other” and 1,382 were listed as “unknown.”

Statewide, the number of COVID-19 cases increased to 1,771,359, health officials said. The number of virus-related deaths increased to 28,058.

Indian River County verified 68 new COVID-19 cases Friday, along with three new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health county report. The data shows the county has reached a milestone of 10,050 virus cases, along with 238 deaths.

The numbers in the reports are provisional and subject to change. Health officials said 107 out of the 238 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.

There have been 609 COVID-19 hospitalizations in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

There were 25 people still hospitalized as of Friday, according to the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

For the Indian River County cases among residents, 6,700 were white, 996 were black, 897 were listed as “other” and 1,374 were listed as “unknown.”

Statewide, the number of COVID-19 cases increased to 1,763,873, health officials said. The number of virus-related deaths increased to 27,913.
