INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A man who deputies said inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl during a Memorial Day gathering at a home, was detained.
The man – identified as Lucky Velente McIntosh – told deputies, “If I did touch her, I don’t remember,” reports show. Another girl who was video-chatting with the teenager during the incident said she saw McIntosh rub the girl’s clothing in a sexual manner for longer than one minute.
Deputies arrested McIntosh, 32, of the 4300 block of 23rd Court, Vero Beach, on a charge of lewd lascivious molestation. McIntosh was held Tuesday at the Indian River County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Indian River County deputies responded to reports of molestation about 7 p.m. Monday at a residence. Deputies spoke with the teenager, who said she was lying on a bed under the covers while live-streaming with her friend.
The girl said McIntosh then began to rub her thighs and genital area, deputies said. The girl jumped out of the bed and notified relatives.
Deputies arrested McIntosh and took him to the county jail. McIntosh has an arraignment at 8:45 a.m. July 2, court records show.
