Grace A. Pratt, 80, Vero Beach

Grace A. Pratt, 80, of Vero Beach, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Bruce and Virginia Dellinger on Aug. 22, 1939, in Jeffersonville, Ind.

In her earlier years of life she was married to the late Wilburn Clay Bowling in 1955.

Grace’s love for music and singing lead her to a long career as a professional vocalist in Louisville, Ky., Nashville, Tenn., and other parts of the country.

After moving to Florida, she pursued an education at Orange County Technical College and Valencia State College in Orlando, earning certifications in hotel, motel and property management.

Her hobbies were spending time with her family, reading, swimming, and traveling. She loved cruising and visiting the Caribbean Islands, the Bahamas, and the Florida Keys.

Grace will always be remembered for her love and passion for her family and helping others. She was such a loving and caring person, fun and witty, and will be missed by so many.

Grace is survived by her children, Jenna (Jim) Boineau, of Sebastian, William C. Bowling Jr., of Vero Beach, and Joey L. Allen, of Vero Beach; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Judith Mann, of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
