Local attorney’s office vandalized over the weekend

The Port St. Lucie Police Department is investigating a case of vandalism at a criminal defense attorney’s office from over the weekend.

The attorney, Adrienne M. Bucchi, reported Monday that her windows and doors had been damaged. Photos show what looks like bullet holes in the tempered glass but investigators had not found bullets or shell casings as of press time.

Bucchi told police that she left her office, located at 762 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd., Friday afternoon and returned Monday afternoon. The damage occurred sometime in between.

Police canvassed the vicinity and spoke with people in the area. Witnesses told police they heard loud noises around midnight March 3 that might have been gun shots. No one reported the noises or called 911.

The damage to the doors and windows is estimated to be $1,300.

No surveillance cameras caught the damage and no witnesses were able to provide suspect information.
